Does Lysol And Ammonia Caused Lungs And Throat Pain?
Hi I was just cleaning my bathroom with Clorox cleaning spray with bleach that also foams, specifically on the tub and in the toilet bowl. Now I m feeling a burning in the back of my mouth and in my throat. I also used some lysol scrubbing bubbles afterward that may have had some ammonia in it but did not mix the two. Rinsed the clorox well first then the lysol. But did not even realize that the lysol had ammonia in it til just now. Now I m panicing. Will I be okay?
The fumes from the chemicals present in the cleaning and disinfecting products could be the possible cause for the burning sensation in your throat and mouth. In my opinion there is no reason to panic, you will be ok in a few hours.
Please see your doctor if your symptoms persist.
Hope this helps
