Does Marijuana Affect The Level Of Lipase?

Does marIjuana edible affect the level of lipase? I have acute pancreatis and I ve been on a feeding tube but I sucked on a marijuana edible that did not make my pancreas hurt so I thought it was okay, but I got my blood drawn yesterday. Would it show up or mess up my lipase reading ?

It very likely will. The marijuana is likely to be made with food substances. Certainly fatty foods, which are the most common type to mix with marijuana will stimulate lipase and are likley to aggravate pancreatitis.
