Hello I have hyper-thyroidism which my doctor thinks has turned into graves disease. I m currently on medication for it and have a.few questions relating to marijuana and my thyroid. Does marijuana have effect on my thyroid? If so good or bad? Is it a bad idea take my medication while under the influence of marijuana? Ive heard marijuana can help with a hyperactive thyroid, if so can I get a medical marijuana lisence? I live in Australia. Thankyou in advance (:

There is no specific research eveidence to state that taking marijuana affects the thyroid gkand. But generally, it is well known that marijuana can have a negative impact on a person's overall health.
