Does Medical Marijuana Help In Fighting Dengue Headaches?
During headaches due to Dengue Fever, the painkillers aspirin or ibuprofen cannot be taken since they are contraindicated. There is a painkiller called Ultracet (Tramadol Hydrochloride and Acetaminophen). Can that be safely taken? What about medical marijuana to help with Dengue headaches... would it be safe?
Hello dear, Thanks for being on Healthcaremagic.com. Aspirin and Ibuprofen should not be taken as they can promote bleeding,in already platelets depleted patients of Dengue fever, thus increasing the risk of hemorrhage in them.Tramadol is safe and the preferred painkiller in patients of Dengue.Medical marijuana has not got any scientific basis for treating Dengue fever, though there are a few stories.I would rather advise to follow medical management, rather than stories.I hope it helps.
