Does Metpure Cause Side Effects Of Acidity, Gas Pressure And Breathlessness?
I take metpure xl 12.5 mg. After taking this medicine i often get acidity like symptoms, gas pressure, breadthless ness, cold hands and feet, weakness which lasts for about 3-4 hours. Then I become normal. I never used to get breadthless ness due to acidity earlier i.e, before taking metpure xl. My BP is at the border line 130/90. Should I stop metpure xl? or how do I stop it?
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. It appears that the tablet metapure xl my be irritant to you. Or you must be taking in empty stomach. If that is the case if you take it after food, will solve the problem. I advise you to consult your doctor regarding this, he may change the tablet, or prescribe some thing for gastric irritation. I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms omeprazole, and domperidone. Avoid taking spices, junk foods, and oily foods. Also avoid un timely foods to avoid gastric irritation. Wishing for a quick and complete rec overy. Thank you.
