Does Mowing The Grass Cause Joint Pain Along With Cough And Headache?

I mowed @3 acres of grass Friday night. When I woke up I could hardly walk. My joints especially my right shoulder side and down to my kidney. As I went to work the pain got worse and I had 2 come home at 1. Today im still very sore but Im a little congested, and when I do have to cough theres pain in my head. Is this from mowing or possibly something else?

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

It may cause allergy in some people who are allergic to pollen or fungal spores on grass. It may induce hay fever in some people.

Wear a mask while mowing. Do some stretch exercise before mowing.

Use antihistamine like Montelukast and Levocetirizine.

If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor, he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
