Does My Two Month Old Daughter Have Chicken Pox ?

My daugter is two months old and started with a little raised bump on her head that bursted then crusted over and then more bumps appeared. They look like little pimples. My fist child had baby acne bad but this isnt the same they are not clustered together like his was and are in all diffrent sizes it has been five days now and more and more are showing up all over her body. some are so light I can bearly see them and other are big and look like water blisters. At fist I thought it was an allergy because of useing a diffrent soap so I switched back but it didnt help they just kept getting worse. She hasnt had anything new.

yeah it looks like chicken pox blisters, it is a self limitting disease and will clear up in a week or fortnight, initially the fever will be sever and it will cause more prostration and latter it will resolve by itself. as such there is no specific treatment and it is only supportive measures only. consult your GP as these kids are more susceptible to infection it may cause some problems, so a consultation with your GP or a child specalist is a must to confirm the diagnosos and to rule out the secondary infection
