Does No Fluid Intake, Constipation And Bleed After Tonsillectomy/adenoids Mean Recurrence ?

my 3 year old had a tonsillectomy/adenoids and ear tubs 10 days ago. 4 days after he dehydrated and was admitted for fluids for 24 hours he had completely stopped drinking and eating. took him home for 5 days still would barely eat or drink ended up at the ER and his hemoglobin was 8 and was admitted again for dehydration, constipation and a bleed. they kept him 24 hours. I m concerned about him rebounding from the bleeding he s getting restested in 3 days. how will I know if the bleed is occurring again? they didn t go in and repair or identify where the bleed occurred so how often do they just stop without repair?

hello,thanks for your query, 10 days of post tonsillectomy, not taking orally, continously dehydrated, could be a infection. with hb 8gm, he requires blood transfusion and iv antibiotics. encourage him to take oral food and lots of fluids to prevent constipation.hope i have answered your query. all d best. take care.
