Does Odorless/black Stool In A Child Indicates Internal Digestive Issue?

I have a one year old boy whose stool is odorless and black as of two days ago. He is taking antibiotics for an ear infection (something stronger than moxixillin). Could there be an internal digestive issue or something else I should be worried about?

Hi
Most of the infants and childs suffers from an upset stomach when taking antibiotics. One of their unfortunate side effects, is that antibiotic drugs are not selective in choosing which bacteria to kill. All the good bacterial colonies in the gut die along with the bad. These good bacterial coloniies are responsible for proper digestion of the food along with giving consistency to stool.
Dont worry most likely the color and odour are due to antibiotic.Once the therapy is stopped things will settle down to normal in few days.
Thanks
