Does One Bleed When An Ovarian Cyst Ruptures?

I went to ER the 24th due to pain for several days, found out I had a cyst on my left ovary that has erupted, I have been in a lot of pain, I went to OB/GYN Thursday to have my mirena removed and all the Dr said about the erupted cyst was to come back in 3months for an ultrasound, I started bleeding heavy yesterday, I just past a rather large blood clot, I am wondering if that is normal, my period was April 4

Ruptured ovarian cyst can cause massive bleeding which can be life threatening in some cases. Consult a gynecologist at the earliest and get an ultrasound scan done. If the bleeding still persist, you might require emergency surgery to stop the bleeding.
