Does Opiate Consumption Cause Trouble In Conceiving?
We have been trying to conceive for over a year, we were both taking opiates, did that affect us getting pregnant? now that we are both off of them, will that greater our chances of conceiving. (we have a previous child together previous to taking opiates)

Opiates can severely affect the fetal development and growth, but I do not see why conception should be prevented due to opiates. I would recommend an elaborate evaluation before you restart trying to conceive to make sure all is well. As time passes, the female body can experience more difficulties with fertility and so an evaluation would be mandatory.
