I have been treating a yeast infection for about five days. By the third day, I was having painful urination. I attributed that to vaginal irritation due to the yeast infection. By the fifth day, I felt like I had to urinate a lot with a lunging burning sensation afterwards. I also noticed a very pale pink color on the toilet tissue after wiping. Is this a uti?
Hi, Thanks for asking. Based on your clinical history and query, my opinion is as follows: 1. Clinical symptoms suggest urinary tract infection. 2. Do get a urine microscopy for wbc, rbc and bacteria done. If positive, culture and sensitivity will be necessary for further treatment. 3. Do get treated at earliest as the infection can move up and become severe.
Hope it helps. Any further queries, happy to help again.
