Does Polioneuritis Have Any Treatment?

My friend in Russia has been diagnosed with polioneuritis (I don t know an exact spell), or polioradiculite. She is over 60 years old, can t write, move, etc. She is a writer. She said there was no treatment for her. I am trying to do some research just to see what is going on here for these patients. Thank you.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Consult a neurologist and get evaluated. Detailed evaluation is required to tailor the treatment. The treatment will depend on the stage and severity of the disease.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
General & Family Physician
