Does Polyps In The Vagina Prevent Pregnancy?

Yes please...my daughter has had six years of trying for a baby with no luck..she has had two IVF treatments, and was told that she has diminished ovarian reserves..only recently did a doctor discover a polyps in her virgina..should this be taken out and could this be a factor in her inability to get pregnant? She is 37 years old 5ft 3ins about 8st 6lbs. She was put on a low contraceptive pill at about 12 years old to help her with symptoms of acne...unfortunately, she has been trying to get pregnant since she married at 31 years old with no success.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI,
I understand your concern.
A polyp in vagina not exactly prevent pregnancy, but it can bea site causing infection/ bleeding & upset her health now & also after conception. She should therefore get the polyp removed before she tries for conception.
As she has restricted reserve , there should be no other health problem while she undergoes next IVF. Get her general health check up done & let her be physically fit .
Thanks.
