Does Pregnancy Remain After Taking Cycotec For First Day?

hi my name is shanika .am 28 yrs old.i went to the doctor because i found out that i was pregnant.i would say about 5 weeks .my doc prescribe cycotec because i told him i want to end the pregnancy.he advised me to insert 4 pills per day for three days,as soon as i inserted the frist set of pills i start bleeding .he said it is suppose to be heavy with clots but thats not the case its as if am having my periods only thing alot of backache and abit more severe cramps does that mean that am still pregnant?

Hello dear
Understand your concern.
Do not worry, you are not pregnant.

Cytotec cause uterine contraction lead to bleeding and abdominal cramp.
It suggests abortion process is started.
But for the other set of tablets follows your gynecologist advice.
Minor bleeding and pain may remain for 4-6 days.
Follow up USG needed after 14 days to confirm the incomplete abortion.
Also check for foul vaginal smells to prevent vaginal infections.
Maintain hygiene, take tablet meftal spas, proper rest and healthy diet.
