Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Does Prescription Medication Have An Expiration Date?
I am wondering if prescription medication has an expiration date. I have a toothache - my husband was give hydrocod/ibu for tooth pain in april 2010. He had a tooth extracted. I don't have any alergies to medication. Would this prescription still be okay to take for my toothache.
I will not encourage you to go ahead and use these medications. Al drugs have expiry dates and so should the prescription medications. Also, your doctor needs to evaluate and see how much of this you need and whether it is safe to go on with this medication. Taking the remains of your husband will be dangerous and puts your life at risk. the best thing to do is to visit a dentist!
I hope this helps. I wish you well. feel free to ask for clarifications and more information if need be. Thanks for using our services!
