Does Presence Of Multiple Follicles Confirm Ovulation?
hello doctor, i had my US on day 12, both ovaries having multiple follicles the largest being 10mm in the right ovary.. my question is will i be ovulating this month? what are my chances of being pregnant? i had a D&C last month for an endometrial polyp.. its been 2yrs of my marriage i have been able to concieve yet.. all other reports of my husband and mine are fine.

each menstural cycle many follicles can develop,but only one follicle becomes dominant to release the egg
during regular scans we can see a single follicle growing rapidly when it reaches the size of 18 - 20 mm usually it ruptures
if your cycle is induced the picture is different
normally ovulation takes place on the 12-14 day if cycles are 28-30 day cycle
scan needs to be repeated on alternate days...
