Does Prilosec Cause Nausea And Dizziness?

Hi, I have been taking prilosec for abut six months. Recently I have had nausea and maybe some dizziness but discount that from wearing bad cheater eye wear. I am getting my blood work from 2 weeks ago and will go from there but now I want a stress test done since I am 50 years old. Just concerned since I have never felt this way before. Im pretty active in my job physically every day but my diet has never been the greatest. Do you think my symptoms may be from prilosec?

Hi!Nausea and dizziness can certainly be due to Prilosec. However since you've been on it for around 6 months it would be worth while to explore other causes of nausea & dizziness ( you mentioned 'bad eye wear' for example). Have you had your BP checked? Also pay close attention to your blood reports once you get them. Do you consume alcohol? Have you had any ear infection/cold recently? These are some of the relevant queries in your case. Do discuss them with your doctor. All the best!
