Does Primolut N Affect Chances Of Pregnancy?

I want to postpone my period for a few days. I usually take primolut n. However, i feel i have been taking it a lot lately atleast one a year for the past 3 years. Ive read the pamphlet and its says that there arent any serious side effects. However i was wondering if it will have any effect on me getting pregnant in the next year esp that i have taken it afew times now? I am 25 years old, was diagnosed with Crohn's disease around a year ago and im currently on Asacol.

Hi, I have gone through your question. Taking PrimuletN does not effect chances of getting pregnant in future. It is a progesterone hormone which is effective only in that menstrual cycle in which it is taken. Continuous prolonged intake of Primulet causes uterine lining atrophy and thus cause problem in conception.
Since you taking it off and on, you will be having no problems.
