My daughter (25 years old) keeps on wetting her self, has just had a urine sample done and the doctor says she has pus balls in the urine and will send a sample off to the hospital as he is unsure how to treat it. What is pus balls and is it just a urine infection that will need antibiotics...help ???

Pus cell certainly means urinary infection but if it is significant enough. Very less pus cells may present in normal situation also. basically pus cells means dead cells, immune cells and bacterial debris. Since your doctor has sent a sample it should be culture and drug sensitivity as it can show the exact microorganism and the effective drug against it. I think you can wait for the report.
