Does Quitting Smoking Cause Dizziness And Sharp Pain In The Chest?
I went to ER yesterday cause I been feeling dizzy with clammy skin and a sharp pain in my chest and back that goes to my neck. Doctor checked my blood pressure and oxygen and he said it’s perfect. He said I had costochondritis. That would be my pain on my middle chest and back area but what bout my lightheaded dizzy feeling? I just quit smoking this Monday might be the effects of withdrawals but I don’t know
Smoking withdrawal is dependent on the number of cigarettes and the duration of smoking. Dizziness may be a symptom of smoking withdrawal. In withdrawal, there is a heaviness in the chest rather than a sharp pain. So it may be possible your chest pain is due to costochondritis.
