Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through you query and can understand your concern..
As per your complain Red bumps over the tongue is not indicative of
tonsillitis..
Tonsillitis is referred to inflammation and infection of lymphoid tissues known as Tonsils present over the sides of throat..
The red bumps in mouth can be apthous ulcers caused due to Iron and
Vitamin B12 deficiency, allergy to medication or eating excess of sour foods..
It can also be cold sores caused be
herpes simplex virus 1.
I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician or a Pedodontist and get evaluated and he can advise treatment according to the cause diagnosed..
As of now you can give supportive treatment like gargling with numbing mouthwash to reduce pain, taking tylenol can relieve pain.
Do warm saline gargles..
Take
soft diet and
multivitamin supplements..
Avoid spicy food and drink plenty of water..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
