Does Replacement Of Glasses Help In Curing Monocular Double Vision?
my husband is seeing like a prism or a kaleidascope in just one eye. it came on suddenly and lasted about 10-15 minutes. His eyelids are also drooping a little. He is in desperate need of new glasses in case that makes any difference. Should we be concerned? Or maybe even head to a hospital?
may be ha having phoria in that eye. prismatic correction may be required.proper refraction is to be done.post refraction trial with prismatic power is to be triad till you are satisfied and there is no problem. can have a second opinion on refraction.cause of drooping eye lid is to be diagnosed it can be paralysis of orbicular is or palpabral supiriosis. may require surgical corection.
Hello.....monocular diplopia is caused by cataract...iris problems...and sometimes retinal disease....consult local eye specilist for comprehensive check up..but in monocular diplopia lid will not droop...lid drooping along with diplopia suggests third nerve palsy. Kindly consult local eye specilist
