Hi if i had a series of severe sun burns as a child, but at the age of 13 i started putting sunscreen on every day, do i still have an increased risk of developing melanoma later in life? if so then what can i do to reduce this risk? i am 25 and born in Australia.
Melanoma is a disorder in which melanin production is affected . Yes, the UV rays can increase the risk. Sunscreens with SPF helps reduce the risk.
