Does Sex During Chlamydia Effect The Healing?

Me and my husband were recently treated for chlamydia about 6 days ago with a one day dose and we were told not to have sex for 1 week.. but today we did have sex and it hasnt been a week yet.. even though its the 6th day will it interrupt the healing process ?

Thank you for query.tthe chances of transmission of infection to other partner who is on the cure will be high.there will be ping pong like infection transmission between partners. Also the healing process of lesions if any may be affected because of it.
