Does Sharing Undergarments Cause Transmission Of Gonorrhea?
Yes please, My neice ha had to come live with me because of pregnancy. Of course our laundry is washed after each use, but she has been borrowing all my clothes including underwear. She was diagnosed today of having gonoreah and clamidia. Do I have to worry about catching any of this?
Hello As you mentioned that your niece and you are sharing same clothes but these are washed in laundry . If washing material is anti septic then there is no chance of getting gonorrhea or chlamydia by you . If solution is not anti septic then you are in danger. How it spread , please note down. Sexually contact . Lower socioeconomic classes . Those with less education and sharing undergarments . While others also get infection but that is not your concern. FORTY SIX (46%) PERCENT HAD CONCURRENT CHLAMYDIA DETECTED ( this reason may be responsible for your niece).Grantz's manual of infectious disease . In my opinion get blood for gonorrhea and chlamydia , if proper care was not taken. Good luck.
