I am having a sharp pain in my throat and I cant eat without gagging and I cant speak without becoming hoarse 30 seconds later. My mom think I have tonsilitis but they are just a little red. Also I have no fever. It hurst from my tonsilis down. Can you tell me what it maybe ? ASAP
Hi, Apart from acute tonsillitis these symptoms might be due to acute pharyngitis or granular pharyngitis. What ever it might be, treatment remains the same. Go for one antibiotic medicine course like Azithromicin. Do antiseptic gargles. Avoid cold drinks and junk food. Ok and take care.
