Does Shoulder Dislocation Cause Severe Pain?
My daughter had a dislocated shoulder which her primary care doctor discovered and popped back in yesterday. she felt little pain before it was replaced as well as for the remainder of yesterday. however today she has a lot of pain which she is treating with Advil. The doctor felt she should not experience a lot of pain but did prescribe her prescription strength Advil. Is this day after pain to be expected? Thank you.

Shoulder dislocation can cause severe pain because the tendon and ligaments are injured.
As a first line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.
If symptoms persist consult an orthopaedic and get evaluated.
