Does Skipping Birth Control Pills Cause Delayed Periods?
I had to double up on my birth control pills the first week of my new pack which started April first. I then had a very light period that started April 15 and lasted until April 29. I had protected sex in April 21. My period was supposed to start today but it has not come and I am always on time. I have not missed any pills this month. I took a pregnancy test 3 days ago and it was negative. Is it possible that missing my 2 pills last month has caused me to skip my period this month? Should I take a second pregnancy test, and if so when should I take it.

Hi, Slight irregularities can happen with hormonal pills and it will settle by itself and you will return to your normal rhythm soon. You can repeat the urine pregnancy test to check whether you are pregnant or not. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
