Does Sleeplessness And Indigestion Occur Though Quitting Smoking?
hello doc , thanx for being online ,i was a chain smoker few years back,bt still i m disturbed becoz i m undergoing listed below problems: 1)no hunger 2)seems that food is left in stomach for a very long time 3)sleepless nights 4)whiteness on tongue. thank you
Hi...Thanks for the query. Assuming that you were a former tobacco smoker; depending on your pattern of smoking & number of cigarettes smoked per day; some of the symptoms like no hunger, sleepless nights, coated tongue can occur & last for few days to upto a week. But if they persist beyond that or if you have any additional medical ailment or are also into habit of alcohol consumption, then you should get yourself evaluated for your liver status by doing a simple liver function test (LFT) which is a blood test & see your doctor accordingly. Good luck
