I ve been diagnosed with swelling of optic nerve , and told it is due to diabetes, sleep apnea or smoking. No treatment was rx d and to follow up in two weeks. Is DM, OSA or smoking potential etiologies and is waiting for a couple of weeks normal treatment . Also, I was told that vision (partial) loss should resolve in 10-14 days.
