Does Smoking Marijuana After A Week Of Appendix Removal Causes Any Infection?

I had my appendix removed about 7 days ago. I finished my pain medicine, and I was wondering if it would do any harm to me if I started smoking marijuana again, I don't mind if it slows healing process, I just want it to fully heal eventually and not cause infections .

Hi,

Smoking marijuana is not likely to cause any infection, but may interfere with healing. It does have other adverse effects not related to wound healing, which I am sure you must be aware of.

Best wishes.
