Does Stiffness In The Limbs And Sensitive Skin Need Immediate Medical Attention?

yes husband is taking warfin 5mg. once a day is on predisone 10 mg. twice a day for some kind of unknown skin rash. Has his blood checked usually every two weeks. He just barely scratches himself and starts bleeding and leaves marks on his skin. also tried to play golf this morning and was so stiff he couldn t swing the club or bend over to get ball. Please is this reason for concern and should we make an emergency room visit?

Hi,

It can be due to an allergic reaction.

As of now, you can take antihistamines like Pheniramine for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persist you can consult a physician and ask for alternatives.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
