Does Stretching Of Throat Treat The Inability To Swallow Water?
I had a EGD done about 6 mo. ago I have problems swallowing water.Solids seem to do better. He said he stretched my throat. It seems there was no improvement. Now he wants to do it again. What would be the gain in that.I am just puzzled why it should be done again.Do you see any benefit in that?
In some cases EGD is done on serial basis to check the status of esophagus. If one first visit dr finds some thing specific then on second time he will refocus on that particular thing to check whether it has improved or not. Similarly in some cases repeated stretching also improves the symptoms.
