Based on your experience throughout the years does a suddenly raised mole always indicate melanoma?Has that been the case with all your patients?I have a tiny mole under my leg, A sudden mole was there under my finger of my leg,it s slightly a larger one,Then i removed it with a safety pin by plucking.Again after months a black came under my middle of the leg, No other changes from what I can tell. It doesn t hurt or itch. I just want to know if there have been cases in which a suddenly raised mole has not been melanoma.iam 19 years old.
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.
A mole is usually a benign growth of melanocytes, cells that gives skin its color. Although very few moles become cancer, abnormal or atypical moles can develop into melanoma over time. A physical examination is need to confirm the diagnosis. So, I suggest to see a dermatologist for further evaluation.
