Does Swelling And Pain At The Site Of Injury Need Medical Attention?

I fell a couple of hours ago and hit the left side of the butt /hip on a metal ladder that was laying on the ground, it hurt immediately. I can walk on it, but is it starting to bruise and swell and I noticed it feels like I have a lump there. Should I have a doctor look at it?

You can apply cold compresses at the site of injury .
Pop some pain killer after having food.
If swelling is there & movements are restricted or intense pain on movement then visit the docor.
