Does Swelling In Leg, Lumpy Breast And Vomitings During Period Related To Pituitary Microadenoma?

I have a pituitary microadenoma and I have symptoms like swelling in the legs with veins showing and hurting, breast becoming lumpy befre period and hurting with veins showing, frequent loose motions, heavy bleeding during periods with vomiting. Is there some kind of connection between these ? Is it a syndrome ?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Pituitary adenoma can cause hormonal imbalances and can cause these symptoms.

However other causes must be ruled out as well. Consult an endocrinologist and he will direct you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
