Hi,I am Dr. Santosh Kondekar (Pediatrician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 2 year old develops a fever every week for the past three weeks the day after her swim lessons. Today she has the fever again but also with a cough and stuffy nose. Is there anything I can do for her? She loves to swim but I don't want her to get a fever every time.

Hello, Welcome to HCM,
As your daughter is having fever for last three weeks after swimming, it may be due to some infection associated with swimming. During swimming your daughter will be exposed to the water which may some microorganism.
As she is very young and the immune system is not so primed to fight against the infection that is why she is getting frequent infection.
So i would suggest you that she should not be allowed for swimming training until her symptoms are subsided. Her symptoms may require a course of oral antibiotics like syp bactoclav for five days and she may require syp paracetamol, these medications helps to control the symptoms. Thank you.
