severe pain with minor swelling at joints. Arthritis? I am 57 years old, handled work comp claims for 33 years and do not have much confidence in the medial industry. I have reviewed thousands of medial reports with opinions on same claim injuries resulting in multiple opinions. I wrote this sad conclusion to the phrase the practice of medicine. I am taking Aleve and 800 mg of ibuprofen. I am considering a blood panel to see if something more is wrong. Opinion?

But I think it is not related to work. You need to investigate its cause by blood test for uric acid ,rheumatoid factor test etc. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it.
