this is the question to oncologist..

i received a mail about ''Imitinef Mercilet'', saying it cures blood cancer. can i know the background of that medicine? is that a medicine having enough scientific background? if so, let me know where i get the details about that medicine?

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
Imitinib is tyrosin kinase inhibitor. It is useful in treatment of chronic myeloid leukemia. However it is not useful in all leukemia. It is proved scientificaly. No doubts about that.
