I am on a trial dose of 20 mg Amitriptyline HCL treating symptoms of abdominal pain, insomnia and fatigue. This was to be a 4 week trial to see if the symptoms were alleviated. Blood work done the same day indicated slight anemia so physician ordered lab for stool. Results not yet determined. At the same time, a poison ivy outbreak on my arm has flared up nasty and physician prescribed prednisone. Any problem with taking them together. Amitriptyline is taken at night.
