Does Taking Duloxetine Hydrochloride And Gabapentin Together Reduce Side Effects Of Withdrawal?

I am coming off of 40mg of methadone. I ve been using gabapentin and it has been very helpful.. However the longer the withdrawal the more pain the gabapentin is not taking care of... I m almost 82 hours deep. I am also prescribed Duloxetine hydrochloride. Will taking that and the gabapentin together help more of the side affects of the withdrawal symptoms?

Hello

Thank you for trusting HCM

Dear methadone withdrawel may treated with clonidine a centrally acting Alfa adrenagic agonist used for Hypertension.

But it may won't control few withdrawal symptoms like nausea, diarrhea, aches, and sleep problems.

so along with above drug you may need cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, contingency management.

Naltrexone may useful for to reduce craving. please consult your phychiayrist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Take care
