Does Taking Elavil For Insomnia Causes Weight Gain?
My doctor prescribed Elavil 25 mg (tricyclic antidepressant) for my insomnia. I ve been under a lot of stress. He said it would help me sleep, may improve my hot flashes, and has some anti-depressant effects...even though I do not feel depressed. I m looking here to see if what he said is true. I m a little concerned about weight gain side effect. I m 51 and going through menopause.
