Does Taking Furosemide For Urinary Incontinence Cause Long Term Side Effects?

I am taking Tamsulosin and furosimide at the same time..........trying to time it so that I can sleep through the night without losing control of my bladder while I sleep...........I do have an enlarged prostate to complicate matters....................I just read the contraindicators for furosimide......THAT gave me pause and wondered if I was doing more long term bad than good..................or perhaps I am overreacting

The best think to do is to follow your doctor's advice.
If they think that you have indications to use both medicines together, then for sure they have weighted if the side effects of taking them together, are lower or more then the benefits. If they have recommended them together, then you surely may have more benefits then risks.
So I would say to follow your doctor's advice. Continue as recommended and do not stop. If you have doubts about that, then better discuss them with your doctor and so they can explain the reasons why they think you need to take them.
