Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, I ve been taking hcg (500 ius a week) for the past 6 weeks, and last week developed a non itchy rash on the sides of my trunk. I m also on a low carb diet, and was taking a testosterone supplement which I ve now stopped. I m a 47 year old male and otherwise in fit health. Just wondering if the rash will go away once I ve stopped the HCG?
The rash, if it is due to the HCG should resolve within a few days of using this medication.
It is possible that you may need to use a mild topical steroid to help it to completely resolve. An example would be hydrocortisone which is available over the counter.
I hope this helps
