Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Your mom is dizzy due to the side effects of Hydralazine. Hydrochlorothiazide also causes drowsiness. It eliminates accumulated fluid from the body hence potassium depletion may cause drowsiness. Visit ER & report to the treating doctor, your mom needs to be examined. The dosage of the medication needs to be monitored. Give her ORS & keep her well hydrated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K.
