Does Taking Microsomal Along With Thryonorm Counter Its Effects Of Weight Loss?
hai dr....i am taking tab thyronorm 25 mcg from past 2 months.. first tsh value was 6.24. after 1 month it reach 2.56.then anti microsomal TPO antibodi : 2.6 ul/ml. my dr told if u r taking this tab ur weight will reduce .stil my weight is not reducing, it is due to any side effect of tab?

Welcome to HCM and thanks for your query.
You have mild hypothyroidism and 25ug of thyronorm is correcting it.
You would loose weight only if you have thyrotoxicosis from excess dose of thyronorm.
Your dose is fine and you are in normal thyroid status. This will not make you lose weight. Weight loss by thyrotoxicosis is not healthy and can have many adverse effects.
