Hello,

I understand you are concerned about swelling in your ankles. Tylenol does not cause swelling, so I would not consider this a possible cause.

There are many causes of swelling in both legs, including blood clots, medications, heart and kidney problems. You are already on a blood thinner so a blood clot would be unlikely.

If you take any other medications I would look at those, especially if you take any medications for blood pressure like amlodipine (Norvasc).

If you are having any shortness of breath I would especially be concerned about your heart and would likely order an ultrasound to make sure it is pumping like normal.

I would also check a urine test to make sure your kidneys were working normally.

You will likely need to see your doctor in order to get evaluated for this. I hope the cause can be found quickly and taken care of easily. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
