Does Taking Allegra Cause Brown Spots On Lips?

iam suffering from dust allergy fr past 10 years ..i use to take allegra tab fr 4-5 years...bt fr past 1 year i got brown spot on my lip. i hv shown this to many Dr s bt no use .They say it is bcoz of the tab i use to take...bt from some days i hv got rashs on my hands also.

Hello,

It is called fixed drug eruption due to the medication. Followed by pigmentation also possible. Thus, it is better to avoid the drug that causing above symptoms. Use hydrocortisone gel locally twice a day for a week. Avoid cool drinks and ice creams. Get it done eosinophil count, CRP and ESR levels. Please review with reports or consult with your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
