Hi my husband had a triple bypass one year ago. Struggled to bring down Bp during the first few months after. His meds at the time was carloc .25mg twice a day. Losartan one twice daily. Cardura 4mg once daily. Eventually was put on amtas 5mg. All seemed well till this last week. Suddenly his blood pressure is dropping to 77/64...with heart beat 93 @ higher. Can u suggest wot is going on.
Anti hypertensive medication should reduced monitoring BP so as to avoid hypotension. Initially amtas can be weaned off with guidance from your physician.
